Meet Dr. Melissa Villafranca
General Dentist | McGill University
Melissa Villafranca is a dentist who has been serving the Montreal community since 2002. She obtained her DMD from McGill University. She continued her training with a general practice residency at the Montreal General Hospital where she gained experience treating the medically compromised population and dental trauma.
After some time in private practice, she returned to her Alma Mater to serve as site director/assistant professor for the MUHC adult – General Practice residency program for almost 10 years.
She continues to mentor young dental students and dentists at McGill University. Dr. Villafranca joined the team at the Centre Dentaire Jardins Dorval in 2013. Here, she offers her patients of all ages treatment that includes: prevention, emergency and trauma, oral cancer screening, restorative dental care, including crown and bridges, Invisalign, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and management of gum health.
